how do i train my 4,5 month old female Labrador retriever to be a guard?

she is extremely hyperactive and affectionate!! she jumps on everyone! and i want her to be a guard!!

Very, very few dogs have it in them to be real guard dogs and those are trained by professionals.
What you probably mean is a watch dog – any dog that barks is a watch dog and that either comes on its own or it doesn’t.
If she’s "hyperactive", she needs more exercise, a lot more. If she jumps on everyone, she needs some training. Nobody appreciates a large dog jumping on them.

Abuse, lots of abuse, if that does not work, try isolation and restraint, and send her to obedience school.

Unlikely. Labs rarely if even have the suitable temperament and drive for Guard dog training. She’s hyperactive because she’s untrained and not getting enough exercise. She’s also a puppy. Labs are VERY people oriented. If you wanted a dog who would be stand-offish with strangers you picked the wrong breed.

You are kidding right. If you wanted a Guard dog you would have had to shell out big bucks. Wanting and getting are two different things. In the first place if you can’t train the dog from jumping on people you need to do some research on how to train a dog. At her age she needs to be a a puppy class and you need to start training her.
